Employment Solicitor (1+ PQE)

As our Employment Department grows, we are looking to add to our Team.

Our Employment and Benefits Team advises domestic and international corporate clients in contentious and non-contentious issues that arise in all aspects of the employer and employee relationship.

Members of our Team are also encouraged to actively participate in marketing and business development and ongoing knowledge and professional development is keenly supported.

We will ideally look for experience in some or all of the following

  • Solicitor with experience working in an Employment Team
  • Advising clients on a wide range of employment law issues to include grievance and disciplinary issues, workplace disputes, contracts of employment and policies and procedures, re-organisations, transfer of employment and redundancies
  • Representing clients in contentious employment law matters before the Workplace Relations Commission, Labour Court and Civil Courts

Skills & Expertise

  • Had at least one rotation in Employment during traineeship
  • Ability to support colleagues from other related practice areas where there is overlap with employment matters
  • Pro-active thinker and problem solver
  • Excellent communicator
  • Can work on own initiative as well as being a strong Team player
  • Possess strong technical and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
